Japan cm of the week - Chiaki Kuriyama sprays a mist

Chiaki Kuriyama (栗山千明) is at it again. Here she's doing an ad for the Aroma Rich room/clothing freshener spray and looking cute as ever.

What has she been up to lately besides this? Chiaki isn't the most prolific actress but her dramas and movies are almost always worth watching, not just because she's gorgeous; she's really talented.

Most recently she was in the semi-serious detective drama Ataru last April (staring opposite SMAP member Nakai). A lot of J-dramas have some kind of oddball character with a miraculous power that helps them solve crimes - here Nakai plays the title character Ataru who is a kind of (probably autistic) savant with the ability to pluck clues out of nowhere and string them together to solve crimes. What made this show different and IMO more interesting than most was that it actually addressed the issue of mental illness, which is very rare to see done in a serious way on TV here.
