Japan cm of the week - Satomi Ishihara looking (and smelling) awesome!

This commercial for Kao's Flair Fragrance is really cute, especially the performance by their spokesmodel Satomi Ishihara (石原さとみ).

Satomi of course is more of an actress than a model - in the 9 years she's been acting she's done consistently good work in everything she's been in. Of course it doesn't hurt that's she's really cute, in a "girl next door if she was better looking than anyone who would actually live next door to you" kind of way.

IMO her best work so far has probably been in the TV show Voice (ブォイス). She played a forensic pathology student in training, and while the show was in some ways just another cop show, the focus on the victims and the how their relatives and loved ones dealt with loss gave the show a kind of freshness and honesty you don't see that often.
