A fitting time slot, IMO.
The plot of the show is simple: young witch in training (Haruna), comes to earth to learn to use her magic. The only problem is that if anyone sees her using spells she can never go home.
But that's not really a problem because thankfully (for the otaku staring at the screen at 1 in the morning), by flashing her panties she can erase any memories people have of her using magic.
So yes, every show will end with a scene of Haruna Kojima giving a panchira (panty flash). Here's the scene in question.
Wow. I don't even really know how to respond to this one.
AKB members have appeared in some mildly degrading commercials before (the Puccho Kiss comes to mind), but this seems like a really odd choice of shows to make, especially considering how unbelievably popular and powerful the group is right now.
So purely for investigative reasons, ahem, I watched the first two episodes of the show. I have to say it's way more cutesy and less sleazy than the basic idea would seem to be and the show does have a few funny moments, but my gut says it isn't doing Haruna or her band members any favors by appearing in it, and it feels more like the kind of show a brand new idol would be in before getting famous.
