Blue, green and white - GXR A16
It was yet another fantastic day today in Abiko, like we were getting a slight reprieve before the rainy season starts in full.
Back home in Illinois I've always liked fall better than the other seasons. Fall brings with it beautiful colors in nature and city life. We have hayrack rides, Halloween and football games all while the leaves slowly shift from green to brown, orange, yellow and red.
But in Japan spring is the best time of the year, especially late spring just before it gets to be too hot.
The weather is warm, but with a cool breeze that just calls to you to go outside, enjoy nature and suck everything in around you - live the world you are in. As a color oriented person, I'm also amazed by the specific patterns you get this time of the year, whether it be the crisp white clouds in bright blue skies, green of fresh tree leaves before they start to fade under summer blazing heat, or all the colors of flowers in bloom further supplemented by all the bright butterflies and other insects.
This year the green is especially fantastic I think, and as I've posted before. And the great thing about the area I live in (northern Chiba) is that if you have a group of 50 trees you get a panorama of 50 shades of green. Truly fantastic.
