Osaka is a great city - great for food, great for shopping, and with a lot of neat places to see.
It's also a great city to just wander around taking pics. Here's a sample of what I took on my trip. All pics taken with the GXR + A16 kit lens unit.

Not only is this a great ramen shop, but also a good place to watch tourists. This lady was making a mad dash along the Dotonbori shopping area, pausing for a second or two at each major shop along the way so her daughter could click off a pic.
I don't know which I like more, the angry guy on the sign or the angry guy in the bottom right of my field of view.
