Fall leaves in Abiko (GXR A16)
There's a really interesting tree you can see just outside where I live. The leaves change into all kinds of colors. Here are a few pics I got the other day, just as the sun was starting to go down.
I love the coloration here - the greens and yellows, mixing to brown.
I brightened up this one a little (above).
Studying math in college, I remember always fascinated by the endless amount of detail, how no matter much you get smaller the same amount of information exists.
I don't know why I mention that here. These leaves just reminded me of that.
Zoom in or out and the same level of depth exists.
Change the angle, the position, the focus, and the same depth extends onward.
Remember, if you want to see a bigger/higher resolution image, click on any of the above pics and it'll send you to my flickr stream.
If anyone wants to save my pics, use them on a blog or whatever, just drop me a note and share/post away.
Oh, and for anyone interested, these pics were all taken with a Ricoh GXR with the A16 24-85mm zoom lens unit.
Update: I had no idea but this is actually a sakura (cherry blossom) tree. A friend of mine pointed it out. Now that I think about it, it has blossomed in the past, but it always blooms much later than the row of cheery blossom trees lining the street in front of where I live, and the blossoms are a bit small so I always assumed it must be something else.
