Japan cm of the week - Pentax K-30
This is how you do a camera commercial.
This clip is for the Pentax K-30, their new water resistant DSLR.
It isn't the most flashy camera commercial ever, and isn't nearly as artsy-smartsy as the Olympus Pen commercials that've been floating around for a few years (here's the newest one), but it tells what you really need to know: get this camera and you can do dance twirls in a rainy bog and still get the shot.
OK, it is kinda silly, but anyone who knows the fear and hesitation of wondering if taking your new expensive camera out on a cloudy day is such a good idea has to be at least tempted. I know I am.
Oh the dude in the cm is Osamu Mukai (εδΊη), overly tall actor who starts in just about everything and who would almost be annoying to see constantly on TV if he wasn't as talented as he is. Someone to keep an eye on. And he's also a nice guy in real life, I hear - very down to earth and likable.
