More cherry blossoms - GXR A16
The past few days it's been full on cherry blossom season in the Kanto area. So I took the GXR with my new A16 lens out for a spin and got some pics.
This one (above) was taken just before the weather got bad. I don't think I could've asked for a more interesting cloud formation behind the flowers.
It was cloudy by this time, but despite that I think I got a few good pics.
Oh, and for people interested in the camera itself, Ricoh added a new "Low ISO" mode to the GXR that effectively adds in ISO 100 to the camera. They say it will have a reduced dynamic range at this ISO, but from what I've seen it's not so bad, and allows the camera to be used in much brighter areas without dropping the f-stop down so much.
Here's a pic I took at the new 100 ISO. A fisherman.
