Today I took a hike around Teganuma. Man, was it beautiful today. Yes, it was freakishly hot, but the scenery was just gorgeous, and the weather wasn't that bad in the shade along the lake.
There pic above is a fish hatchery (or whatever you call them) that I think allows you to fish there certain times a year.
And some flowers along the walkway. The area is really nice if you have time to walk around and want a peaceful place to enjoy nature, and the random stray cat or two. This guy was really friendly.
Man, I love a nice, peaceful cat like that who just wants attention.
And yes, this means this blog, too, has been taken over by the random feline pic.
Anyway, if anyone wants to find this area, walk South from Abiko station until you hit the end of the road, and there you are. Walk into the park, and then follow the path around the lake going East. It really is a nice walk (or bike ride), and there are frequent public restrooms, benches and markers telling you just how far you've gone.
